First and i think the most important thing to achieve such target is to have complete knowledge about the entire subject. Basically you may have 5 or 6 subject according to your choice Physics, Chemistry, English, Maths or Biology (according) to your choice and Physical education.
Let's discuss about each subject and their challenges
a) Physics- I think the most difficult among all. From the very starting you must try to be very attentive in the class and try to grab all the concepts explained by your teacher. Once you start understanding it you will surely find it very interesting. Problem solving is important but mostly try to focus on all the derivation. Questions are generally moderate and they usually ask derivation. 15 to 20 marks will be for numerical which you can practice from S.L Arora and Previous Year Questions. NCERT books and their questions are not very important. No other extra effort is required for numerical. Make notes and practice all the derivations. Talk to your teacher and immediately solve all your doubts. Any negligence will create doubt in your mind which might create problem in achieving your goal.
b) Maths- NCERT is the key. Complete knowledge of the entire theory along with the application of all the concepts and speed makes this subject a bit difficult. But solving the entire ncert maths and especially miscellaneous is very important. You can also solve NCERT exampler which can help you in practising problems. No other books are required. Solve NCERT mathematics 5 times atleast. Try to revise all the theory because questions will be very basic level and you are not required to think much. Revision is very important so revise as much as possible.
C) English- In English you have two books to study one is vistas and the other is flamingo. Read each and every chapter throughly because questions will be from inside. You will not face much difficulty while studying it. Understand the meaning of hard words because such questions can be asked. you have 3 sections in English first is reading second is writing and the third is literature. In reading section you will have to comprehensions. For writing section you may check your syllabus. 4 to 5 writing which come in exam.
d) Chemistry- For chemistry you have to follow complete NCERT. Reading and understanding of the theory is very important in chemistry. You must solve all the examples of back exercise of NCERT. Intext questions also very important. For reference you can use All In One book. For inorganic chemistry read NCERT line by line understand the entire concept. In physical chemistry you have to solve numericals so practice is very important. For organic chemistry mechanisms are not very important but the formation of product is very important. So overall for chemistry you have to read NCERT line by line.
e) Biology- Again for Biology I would say NCERT is the key. Reading, understanding and remembering is important in this subject. this subject is quite lengthy but if you will start learning from starting then you can complete it easily. Follow the instruction of your teacher and revise as much as possible. For biology we can also use All in one book. Make notes from the very beginning and mark important points in the book if possible this would help you to achieve your target.
f) Physical education- It is the easiest subject ever. Only thing you have to do is to read the entire book and remember. No extra book is required, only physical education given by CBSE is sufficient.
Each paper is of 70 marks and apart from this, 30 marks is for practical which you all have to give to get maximum percentage. Information about practicals and other details will be provided by a teacher. For practical test some teachers from other school will come and they will give the grade according to your performance. You have to write the assigned practical in your notebook and viva will be taken. Based upon your writing and viva grade will be provided to you.
So, these were some important steps by which you can achieve your target, apart from this some other inportant points are also required. Let's see....
2-Revision
3- Focus and Concentration
If you really want to achieve your target you have to be very focused and concentrated while preparing. Read for minimum hours but give your entire concentration there. Quality matter quantity does not. At least 5 to 6 hour concentrated study is sufficient. You can do meditation and yoga to increase your focus and concentration, so try to do a little exercise everyday.
4- Execution
This is the most important part in the entire journey. Doesn't matter what you have studied or remembered but if you fail to execute in the exam your entire hardwork will be in vain. Control your nerve and keep calm during your exam.
