Bachelor of Commerce is a three year undergraduate degree course in Commerce. BCom is the second most popular course in Commerce field. Eligibility criteria for BCom

Bachelor in Business Administration is also a three year undergraduate degree course after 12th. This degree is also known as Bachelor of Business Studies(BBS) and Bachelor of  Management Studies (BMS). BBA course provides numerous opportunities to students in the sectors like Finance, Marketing and Sales. There are two courses in BBA that is BBA General (pass course) and BBA Hons.(Specifications). The course is designed to provide the understanding of management studies and train the students in effective communication skills , leadership skills and enhance decision making power.

Eligibility criteria for BBA

The candidate must have passed Class 12th with minimum 50% or more. It doesn't matter whether you are from Science, Commerce or Arts stream, anyone can purse BBA.

3. Charted Accountant(CA)

Charted Accountant is one of the most reputed and prestigious course in the field of Commerce. Charted Accountant is a five year professional course which is conducted by Institute of Charted Accountant of India(ICAI). Charted Accountant is a good career option after 12th. Students from any fields wheather he/she is from science, commerce or arts can apply for CA course.

There is no age limit to apply for CA exam.

Course details and Exams

CA is a long duration course. It takes five years to complete CA course. In India ICAI conducts CA examination. There are three levels to clear CA exam.

Exams conducted are :- 

1. Foundation Course

2. Intermediate Course

3. Final Course.

Foundation course is the entry level exam followed by Intermediate course.

Foundation and Intermediate Course  is conducted twice in a year, in May and November. 

The students who had cleared their 12th exam can give foundation test conducted by ICAI.

After passing the group 1st exam of Intermediate, the students have to undergo for 3 year on the job training period called "articleship". After completing the articleship, the students can give final exam.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are eligible for CA exams only after passing class 12th exam. Students of any stream wheather he/she is from Science, Commerce or Arts can apply for CPT. 

Students of Commerce stream need to score 50% aggregate marks in Class 12 in order to give CPT. 

Students of  any other streams need to score an aggregate of  55% excluding Mathematics and 60% including Mathematics in Class 12 board exam.

4. Company Secretary (CS)

Company Secretary is the second most popular professional course after CA. Company secretary is the senior level post in any private or public sector company. It deals with legal activities of the companies. Institute of Company Secretaries of India(ICSI) is the sole professional body to develop and regulate Company Secretary profession. The role of the Company Secretary is to keep the records, tax returns, advice board of directors and manage the leagal aspect of the company. No age limit is required to pursue this course.

Course details and Exams

Company secretary is a three year professional course same as undergraduate courses. This CS exams are conducted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of Indian(ICSI). The whole exams are divided into three levels :-

1. CS Executive Entrance Test(CSEET)

2. CS Intermediate/ Executive course

3. CS Professional/ Final Course

CSEET is conducted fourfold during a year, in May, July, November and January. CS Executive and CS Final are conducted twice in a year, in June and December.

Eligibility Criteria

Students who had cleared class 12th board exam from any stream can apply for CSEET.

Candidates who wants to pursue CS after graduation(except fine arts), they don't need to give CSEET.

They can directly apply for CS Executive course.
