DU Admission procedure (UG Courses): Merit Basis
Delhi University admission procedure is completely online this year due to COVID-19 and you don't need to physically go to the Colleges to take admission.
1. The first step in the process of admission is to register themselves in the Delhi University admission portal ( du.ac.in). The UG admission portal is already closed on 31 August 2020.
2. After registration, candidates have to wait for the cut off. The tentative dates for the announcement of cut off is 12th September. This year DU will announce only five cut off and other cut off will be announced according to the seats left.
3. After the announcement of the cut off, candidates have to check whether they clear cut off of their desired Colleges or not.
4. If the candidates clear the cut off of any College then, they have to go to the official Website of that College and apply for the admission in the desired course and submit the required documents.
5. After the submission of the documents, the DU will verify all your documents.
6. After the verification of documents, candidates have to pay the one year fees within 24 hrs. And if you fail to pay, your admission will be cancelled.
DU Cut off (2020)
The cut off of Delhi University is generally very high. The cut off of 2020 will be announced in 2nd week of September. This year the cut off is going to be increase by 1-2% as the number of candidates scoring 95% above have increased by 118% as compared to the last year in CBSE Class 12 results announced on 13 July 2020. Candidates can check out last year cut off from the Delhi University official website du.ac.in.

Documents Required for Admission
The correct documents are very important for admission in DU. Here are the list of all the documents required at the time of admission. Documents must be uploaded with utmost care. Uploading of false documents will result in cancellation of admission and penalty as well.

(c) Recent Passport Size Photographs and Scanned Signature
(d) Character Certificate
(e) Transfer/ Migration Certificate
(f) Relevant reservation certificate issued by competent authority
(g) ECA distinction/ Sports Category Certificate
(h) Income Certificate (OBC NCL)
(i) Photo identity card (Aadhar Card, Driving License, PAN Card, Voter Identity Card, Passport or School Identity Card).
